Check out our Guide Dogs in Action Educational Series, as a guide dog team makes a trip to the country store. Learn what challenges they’ll face and how the guide dog uses its skills to navigate a variety of situations along the way. Includes free classroom materials and supplemental information for teachers and other presenters.

Preparing for the Future of Autonomous Technologies
Listen to research scientist Dr. Nicholas Giudice’s presentation at the PTGDU spring meeting to learn why autonomous technologies matter, and about the work that he and his research team are doing to make autonomous vehicles and robot guide dogs accessible for use by blind and low vision users. Individuals interested in participating in future research with Dr. Giudice and the VEMI Lab located at The University of Maine can fill out this research intake form.
